ICCR celebrates World Culture Day on 21st

ICCR is celebrating the World Culture Day on May 21, 2020. On this occasion, the third Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial International Oration will be organized online by ICCR on “Ayurveda and its relevance today” by Dr. Antonio Morandi, a renowned Ayurveda expert from Italy.

President ICCR will make the opening remarks followed by Dr Morandi’s oration. Secretary, Ayush will be present on the occasion. The live-streaming of the event is scheduled on 21 May at 1500 Indian Time on ICCR’s FB live, Twitter live, YouTube live and Instagram live.

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was founded in 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, independent India’s first Education Minister. Its objectives are to actively participate in the formulation and implementation of policies and programs pertaining to India’s external cultural relations; to foster and strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and other countries; to promote cultural exchanges with other countries and people, and to develop relations with nations.
