This Monday, August 11th, marked the return of one of the biggest TV shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by superstar, Amitabh Bachchan. The show marking its 17th season, has now released the promo for its new episode on the occasion of Independence Day which will feature esteemed officers from the Indian Armed Forces who played a crucial role during media briefings on Operation Sindoor.
The promo released by channel Sony TV showcased Colonel Sofiya Qureshi of the Indian Army, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Indian Air Force and Commander Prerna Deosthalee of the Indian Navy being welcomed by Big B on the show.
Colonel Sofiya Qureshi in the clip spoke about why it was important for India to launch Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. She firmly stated that Pakistan needed to be answered for the harm they have caused to India throughout these years by numerous attacks. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Commander Prerna Deosthalee also joined in and stated that the army carried out these attacks in just 25 minutes but they made sure no civilians were harmed.
“Pakistan yeh karta chala aa raha hai. Toh jawab dena banta tha, sir. Isiliye Operation Sindoor ko plan kiya gaya. (Pakistan has been doing this for years; it was important to answer back, which is why Operation Sindoor was planned)” Col Qureshi said.
The Wing Commander added, “Raat ko ek baj kar paanch minute se lekar dedh baje tak, pachhis minute me khel khatam kar diya. (At night, between 1.05 am to 1.30 am, we ended their game in just 25 minutes)”
“Targets were destroyed and koi bhi civilians ko koi harm nahi hua tha. (Targets were destroyed and no civilians were harmed)” said Commander Deosthalee.
Col Sofiya then went on to say, “This is a new India, with a new mindset”.
The special episode that is set to air on August 15th at 9 pm on Sony TV and sheds light on the Operation Sindoor carried out by our army in retaliation to the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam valley that took away the lives of 26 innocent tourists. On May 7th, in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian army carried out a series of targeted strikes on nine Pakistani terror camps.
