One of the biggest projects that the Indian film industry has lined up for the fans is the upcoming epic Ramayana which will be a two-part film series. The superstar from South, Yash will be playing the role of Raavan in the film series. The latest big reveal that is coming from the sets of the movie is that Yash is collaborating with the stunt maestro from Hollywood, Guy Norris.
As the reports suggest, Yash has begun principal photography on Ramayana and the filmmakers have roped in the famous stunt director from Hollywood, Guy Norris. Norris is best known for his work in films like Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Suicide Squad.
Norris has been called to choreograph intricate and elaborate action sequences which will do justice to the massive scale of this mythological adaptation. He has been called in to design set pieces that depict the mythological style action pieces and war sequences.
The movie has also brought in Yash‘s Monster Mind Creations and the film producer Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios. The addition of these huge production houses can help the project in becoming the large-scale epic that everyone is expecting them to be.
The producer of the two-film project, Namit Malhotra spoke about how excited he feels for the project. Taking to his social media handle, Malhotra wrote, “More than a decade ago, I embarked on a noble quest to bring this epic that has ruled billions of hearts for over 5000 years to the big screen. And today, I am thrilled to see it taking shape beautifully as our teams work tirelessly with only one purpose: to present the most authentic, sacred, and visually stunning adaptation of our history, our truth, and our culture – our RAMAYANA–for people across the world.”
The film project – Ramayana will be starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role of Lord Rama and will be paired alongside Sai Pallavi who will be seen portraying Sita. The rest of the cast has not been announced as of now and people are eagerly waiting to see who will be casted in other important roles in the epic. The movies will be directed by ‘Dangal’ and ‘Chichore’ famed Nitesh Tiwari.
