A tragic news for the movie lovers as well known actor from Malayalam cinema and TV industry, Shanawas passed away late on Monday night, August 4th. The late actor was 71 years old and was battling some prolonged health issues from the past few days. Last night, he succumbed to health issues and breathed his last at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
The actor was suffering from serious medical ailments for quite some time and was admitted in a private hospital in Kerala’s capital after his condition started getting worse, as per the reports. Last night, he succumbed to health issues and breathed his last in the hospital.
Shanawas was the son of legendary actor of the Malayalam film industry Prem Nazir. He was also a big name in Malayalam industry as he was part of over 5o films in the regional cinema and also appeared in some TV serials in the same language. Some of his most famous works include Mazhanilavu, Neelagiri, Manithali, Gaanam, Aazhi, and Human.
Shanawas, in the middle of his career even took a break from acting as well as the movie business but returned back to his art after a break. The actor returned to the regional screens with the Mohanlal-starrer China Town, which was released on the big screens in 2011. He was last seen in the super hit movie Jana Gana Mana in 2022.
As per the reports, the Malayalam star’s funeral will be held today, on August 5th, at the Palayam Muslim Jamaat cemetery. The death of the famous actor was mourned by many famous personalities including General Education Minister V Sivankutty.
