Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has jumped on the viral FA9LA trend from Aditya Dhar’s blockbuster Dhurandhar, recreating Akshaye Khanna’s iconic dance steps while showering praise on the film’s star-studded cast and crew. The high-octane action drama, released on December 5, 2025, has smashed box office records, grossing approximately Rs 555.75 crore domestically in just 17 days, surpassing Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal to claim the 10th spot among India’s highest-grossing films.
In an Instagram video, Shetty grooves energetically to the track, captioning it: “Fan toh mila nahi lekin mai fan ho gayi hu, toh yeh trend karna banta tha.” She lauds Ranveer Singh’s “underplayed, nuanced” performance, declares Akshaye Khanna’s “aura maxxx,” calls R. Madhavan irreplaceable, Arjun Rampal a “revelation,” and Sanjay Dutt a “rockstar as always”. Shetty also shouts out supporting actors Gaurav Gera, Manav Gohil, and Rakesh Bedi, crediting casting director Mukesh Chhabra, composer Shashwat Singh for the “favourite playlist,” and director Dhar as a “visionary” for crafting “one of the most patriotic films” in years.
Dhurandhar, an underworld saga of criminals, informants, and covert operations, stars Ranveer Singh alongside Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. A post-credits sequel tease promises a March 19, 2026, release, fueling fan excitement amid the film’s acclaim as 2025’s top grosser.
