Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is returning to the big screens in his fan favourite avatar as the lively and fearless Jassi in his new movie Son of Sardaar 2. The makers of the film have released the much-awaited trailer of the comedy film today and the fans of the superstar are loving the trailer seeing Devgn back in a comedic role.
The trailer of the second installment of the comedy franchise starts with a bit of nostalgia as they show a few of the most popular scenes from the first movie. The movie is packed with humour, action, romance and all of that topped with the Punjabi flavor as suggested by the title.
The trailer shows many quirky and comedic scenes of the movie. In one of the scenes Devgn’s character is there with an elderly woman who begins pole dancing. The scene ends when she collapses to the ground with her body folded and the makers try their hand with dark comedy with the line, “Bebe marr gayi.”
The story then moves around a wedding as many characters appear which gather together for a wedding celebration. Ravi Kishan is one of the newer additions to the franchise and he and Devgn can be seen together in a funny sequence. Jassi is narrating his war story but the only change is that he is mimicking Sunny Deol’s iconic Border persona. However, Ravi’s character can’t see through it and mentions that Border was inspired by Jassi’s story.
Ajay Devgn took to his social media account and posted the trailer of the film with a caption that read, “Action! Emotions! Confusion ka bhandaar. JASSI is back, aur iss baar sab kuch double hain!
