IAAC to Honor Dr. Samin Sharma with 2024 Trailblazer Award at Renaissance Gala

The Indo-American Arts Council (IAAC) is proud to announce that Dr. Samin Sharma, Director of Interventional Cardiology at Mount Sinai Heart, will be honored with its prestigious 2024 Trailblazer Award. This award acknowledges Dr. Sharma’s exceptional contributions to the field of medicine and his pioneering advancements in interventional cardiology. The recognition also celebrates his unwavering pride in his roots, his community, and his culture.

The award presentation will take place at the IAAC Renaissance Gala on Sunday, November 10th, at International House in New York City. The evening begins with a public program at 6 p.m.

Dr. Sharma is internationally renowned for his clinical excellence, pioneering research, and dedication to advancing cardiovascular care. Throughout his career at Mount Sinai, he has performed over 25,000 coronary interventions, maintaining one of the highest success rates in complex cases. His commitment to patient care and medical innovation has set new standards in interventional cardiology.
