Award-winning filmmaker-actor and branding specialist Rahul Mittra called on Dr Bibek Debroy, India’s top economist and Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in the capital city on Monday evening.
Educated in Calcutta, Delhi and Cambridge and Padma Shri-awardee Dr Debroy has actively worked in the realm of academia, government and research institutions in senior capacities. An astute Sanskrit scholar, Dr Debroy has translated the unabridged version of the Mahabharata into English, in a series of 10 volumes.
