TiE NY has shaped and nurtured a thriving entrepreneurial community one Tuesday at a time through its flagship and unconventional Tuesday events, mentorship programs, and open mic nights. 1,300 Tuesdays later, it celebrates its silver anniversary

While the magical autumn has descended upon New York, TiE NY’s Silver Anniversary Event will recognize and celebrate all that TiE NY’s chapter has accomplished in the last 25 years, setting the stage for NY’s entrepreneurs to be nurtured through connection and mentorship. The event will inspire all to imagine what the next 25 years of entrepreneurship will look like. To be organized at The Conrad New York Downtown on October 14th, the event celebrates TiE NY’s spirit of giving back.

The speakers and the panelists

To be kickstarted with opening remarks from President of TIE NY, Manjusha Tipre, celebrating the last 25 years, there will be a keynote from Sunil Madhu, founder and CEO, Instnt Inc. sharing his first-hand experience with launching SoCure, and how TiE NY supported him in his journey. Madhu is a serial entrepreneur and software architect with over 20 years of experience in developing products, teams and selling innovative software solutions. He will be delivering a keynote on ‘What TiE NY Means to Successful Unicorn Companies’. Michael Hund, CEO, EB Research Partnership, a game-changing medical research organization dedicated to curing the life-threatening genetic skin disease Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and pioneering the innovative business model of Venture Philanthropy. He will be a panelist for the discussion on ‘Imagine – The Next 25 Years in Entrepreneurship’.

Another panelist for the same is Lauren Foundos, CEO, FORTE,  a financial expert, and an entrepreneur. Launched in 2015, FORTË is a B2B SaaS solution enabling gyms, boutique studios, influencers, and sports leagues and teams to build a premium, interactive live and on-demand video solution for their members. More panelists include Peter Righi, Global Director, Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (CEED )is an Experienced Global Director with a demonstrated fundraising track record and a history of working in the area of entrepreneurship ecosystem building, and investment (community building, project design and execution, and professional training and coaching). Sara Hand, CEO, of Spark Growth, is a visionary leader with a strong and diverse business development background spanning the innovation value chain from idea to exit. She has experience across public and private sectors, industry verticals, and early-stage investment. 

The evening will be concluded with TiE Global and NY Founders Recognition and Awards followed by dinner. The requested dress code is evening formal with a dash of silver. Sponsorships are available.  With several options available, a sponsor will be recognized for advocating for TiE’s mission to support entrepreneurship. Full and Back page sponsors can receive tickets to the gala. Each table sponsor gets tickets for ten people, logo placement, and sponsor mention in the Gala program.
