Artesia gets immersed in vibrant colours of Holi

The Vibrant Holi Festival celebrations at Artesia Park turned out to be a spectacular success bringing together the rich and diverse heritage and culture of India and Nepal. Organized by Yogi Patel, Parimal Shah, and Dinesh Shah who are leading business entrepreneurs in Southern California, Madheshi Association, and Artesia Chamber of Commerce, this fun-filled event truly brought the spirit of Holi to Southern California with the colors, song, and dance.

Yogi Patel, the president of Lebon Hospitality is a successful entrepreneur, leading hotelier, and investor, who is involved in developing several hotels in California. Urmila Menon, the Emcee for the Holi event, is the CEO of Sanarjg Systems, a Technology Services firm, and Parimal Shah is a real estate developer with over three decades of experience and is currently chairperson of the Cerritos College Foundation, City of Cerritos, Fine Arts and Historical Development Commission and is the founder of Artesia Chamber of Commerce. Dinesh Shah is the founder and owner of Nanking Indo-Chinese Restaurant.

The ensemble group of talented local performers, Emcee by Urmila Menon, DJ by Shagun Shrestha, rocking vocals by Rhythm, Priya, and Rajeshwari, LA Vogue Fashion show by Soniya Dave represented the potpourri of diverse talent along with the Bollywood Holi vibes in Artesia. SoCalChannel, the event’s Media Partner performed an outstanding job bringing this event to the forefront of social media channels. Nanking Indo-Chinese Restaurant and Yogi Patel offered hospitality services by serving delicious Indo-Chinese culinary delights!

The Raffle event with the majestic prize of a 60” TV was the grand finale which was won by Pat Patnaik. The Lakewood Police officers, Artesia Mayor, the Council General of Nepal, and local businesses graced the occasion.

Event organizers offered their gratefulness to the local communities in Artesia, Cerritos, and Orange County residents for making this Holi event sold out with more than 700 people from the local community engaging and playing Holi together in a heartwarming manner. Bringing in sheer abundance of joy and welcoming the ushering in of Spring, with the spirit of love, unity, and triumph of good over evil.
