It was a beautiful evening with dinner and drinks before the maestro with his smile and astonishing chemistry with the audience made it a scintillating evening of music and relaxation. The audience comprised members of the Indian and Pakistani communities from New Jersey and neighboring areas. Jalota presented an evening of songs and bhajans that are very popular in every household.
Chaku, the national promoter, and Kunal Joshi with Juhi Desai, the local promoter worked through the last few months to ensure a sold-out show, especially after a few postponements of shows this summer. Both Joshi and Desai have recently collaborated but this was their 1st independent show. Smiles on the audience’s face, proved the show’s success as many took to the dance floor on some popular numbers.
