Netflix’s ‘Vir Das Landing’ wins him a maiden International Emmy Award for best comedy series

Vir Das has made India proud as he won the award in the unique comedy special category. He was nominated for ‘Vir Das: Landing’, streaming on Netflix. He shared the award with ‘Derry Girls – Season 3’.
The awards ceremony was held in New York on late Monday night. As per the Organisers, Actor-comic Vir Das won the International Emmy Award for his stand-up special “Vir Das: Landing” in the best comedy series category.
This was the second nomination and maiden win in the segment for Das, who shared the trophy with the popular British teen sitcom “Derry Girls” season three.
