As euphoria builds up in the whole of America, ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s historic visit to the US this week, Indian Americans held the ‘Unity march’ to express their love and extend a warm welcome to the PM. Not just in Washington, Indian Americans held the march in 20 major cities of this great nation including New York. During the march, the over-enthusiastic crowd and the community were seen chanting “Modi Modi,” “Vande Mataram” and “Vande America.”

This historic US visit of PM Modi from June 20-24, at the invitation of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, has gathered much attention from the public and the US Government alike. So, this is a great event and moment for all of us.”

“India is making all the difference. We wanted to celebrate that and wanted to make sure that everyone knows how Indian and American relationship is growing and how it is helpful.” Reddy said.

Raj Bhansali, another Indian American, said, “I am here to support Prime Minister Modi. It is great to feel and be able to engage with our Indian community. It is a very proud moment for all of us that PM Modi will be visiting the United States.”
