Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming action-romance Gunmaaster G9 has unveiled its first teaser, offering audiences a glimpse of an intense world where love, violence and crime collide. The film, directed by Aditya Datt, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
Titled “The World of G9 Begins”, the teaser introduces Hashmi in a powerful, action-oriented avatar, with his character driven by an intense determination to reach the woman he loves. Genelia D’Souza features as the female lead, while Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Singh, Snehil Mehra and Inayat Verma are also part of the cast.
While the teaser keeps much of the plot under wraps, it establishes a mix of romance and high-octane action. Hashmi’s character appears willing to confront considerable danger for love, suggesting that the emotional relationship will be central to the film’s narrative.
A major talking point is the reunion of Hashmi with composer-singer Himesh Reshammiya. The two, along with Datt, are coming together nearly two decades after their earlier collaborations, bringing a distinctly nostalgic 2000s Bollywood flavour to the project. Reshammiya’s track “Afsana” also features in the teaser, adding a musical element to the otherwise action-heavy presentation.
The film arrives at a significant point in Hashmi’s career, following the strong box-office performance of Awarapan 2. The actor’s latest outing has reportedly crossed ₹196 crore worldwide, further raising expectations around his next release.
Produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut and Sangeeta Ahir, Gunmaaster G9 will hit cinemas on November 27.
