An upcoming talent show will be held on April 2, 2023 to be organized by The Brahmin Society of New York. The event will be take place at Levittown Hall in Hicksville, New York. Brahmin Society was founded in 1987 to celebrate the Indian culture, festivals, traditions and to keep the young generation aware and involved in all such activities. Shivratri, Gayatri Yagna, Shraddha, Janoi Changing, Navratri, Diwali, all these traditional landmarks are celebrated with much fervor.
The mission is to bring Brahmin families together to promote cordial relations, better understanding and mutual respect among themselves and society as a whole. Also such celebrations create awareness of India’s rich culture, heritage and educational activities specially amongst the young crowd.
This year’s Talent Show is open to all age groups and will include dance and music performances, awards, trophies, and raffle prizes.
The 2023 talent show will be managed by the committee of Dharini Trivedi, Poonam Shah and Kalpana Parikh, and BSNY Youth Club President Kamya Parikh. The trophy is sponsored by Pollina Tours and Travel. The organization has been holding the talent show to encourage and build up stage confidence in children, young adults, and seniors without competitive pressure.
