Aneet Padda, widely praised for her role in the hit film Saiyaara, has recently seen renewed attention as one of her 3-year-old advertisements for Cadbury went viral, sparking a wave of admiration for her early work in commercials. The Cadbury Silk Bubbly ad features Padda alongside actor Abhay Verma in a lighthearted music class scene, capturing a playful moment over a chocolate bar that won the hearts of many viewers even before her cinematic breakthrough.
Before Saiyaara, Padda built an impressive portfolio in the advertising world, representing prominent brands such as Nescafe, Paytm, and Amazon Prime. One of her notable commercials for Paytm depicted a charming first-date scenario that went viral among younger audiences, showcasing her natural and unforced screen presence. These commercials highlighted her warmth, emotive expressions, and on-screen charm, attributes that her fans and critics now associate with her acting career.
Padda’s transition from commercials to screen acting is marked by her earlier roles in projects like the 2022 film Salaam Venky and the web series Big Girls Don’t Cry (2024), where she portrayed Roohi Ahuja. Additionally, she appeared in the youth-centric TV show Yuva: Sapno Ka Safar under the name Aneet Kaur and released her debut single Masoom in 2024, illustrating her varied talents beyond acting.
The success of Saiyaara has catapulted Aneet into the spotlight, with her social media following increasing from around 350,000 to over 1.1 million, reflecting audiences’ growing fascination with her journey from familiar ad face to leading actress. Fans and industry observers alike celebrate how these early advertisements were precursors to the star quality she now displays, proving that her rise was both steady and well-earned
