Rachna Nath Empowers Future Entrepreneurs Through Innovation and STEM Focused DRIPBL

Rachna Nath, an award-winning STEM educator, innovator, and STEMpreneur, continues to make waves in the education and innovation landscape through her extensive mentorship and groundbreaking initiatives. As the Co-Chair of the UNA-USA Educator Affinity Group, a Fulbright Scholar, NASA Solar System Ambassador, Lemelson-MIT Lecturer and National Geographic content developer, Nath has dedicated her career to fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, research and Innovation among students that has resulted in 9 students receiving USPTO patents, 16 International Science and Engineering Fair awards, $16.8 million in scholarships among other achievements.

With accolades including TIME Top 10 Innovative Teacher, the Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators, the Global Innovation Award from TURNITIN among others, Nath has consistently pushed the boundaries of education. Her work has secured funding from prestigious organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, NSF, FLINN Foundation and the Department of Defense, enabling her to drive meaningful change in STEM education through collaborations with Tier one Universities in the US, India, South Africa and more.

At the heart of her mission is Dream Research Innovate Problem/Project Based Learning (DRIPBL), an initiative designed to empower young researchers and entrepreneurs by providing them with the tools, mentorship, and resources needed to transform their innovative ideas to reality. Nath collaborates with IT professionals, legal experts, and industry leaders to guide students through background research, ideation, research planning, data analysis, result communication, patenting, licensing, and business incubation. Her mentorship empowers students to tackle real-world challenges, secure licensing deals, and build strong portfolios for undergraduate applications starting as early as 5th grade. Additionally, she works tirelessly to help students publish their research in top-tier journals, ensuring the protection of their intellectual property and research projects.

Beyond STEM, Nath is deeply committed to community service, environmental advocacy, and the arts. She actively volunteers in sustainability projects, educates communities on honey bees, and leads Sangeeta Nritya Academy, a dance school dedicated to preserving Indian cultural heritage. She is also the recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Lifetime Service Award for her five thousand plus volunteer hours of community service among others.
