Health Camp of New Jersey (HCNJ), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving community health outcomes, will host its annual Free Health Fair on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in partnership with Sri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple and leading healthcare organizations. The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple, 1 Balaji Temple Drive, Bridgewater, New Jersey, and will provide comprehensive preventive health screenings, medical consultations, and health education services at no cost to uninsured and underinsured residents throughout New Jersey.

Since its founding in 1999, Health Camp of New Jersey has served more than 15,000 individuals and identified over 4,500 cases of chronic disease through its annual community health screenings. These health fairs play a vital role in promoting early detection, disease prevention, and improved access to healthcare, particularly among South Asian communities and other underserved populations with limited access to medical services.

Participants will have access to a wide range of free healthcare services, including blood testing with Hemoglobin A1c screening for diabetes, electrocardiograms (EKGs) and cardiology evaluations, vision screenings for glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, physical examinations, cancer screenings, hypertension and chronic disease screenings, women’s health services, dental examinations, physical therapy consultations, dietary and pharmacy counseling, mental health support, alternative therapy, access-to-care navigation, and comprehensive health education.

Advance registration is required, and community members are encouraged to register by July 15, 2026, by completing the online registration form available at its website.

The Health Fair is made possible through the generous support and collaboration of Sri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple, RWJ Barnabas Health–Somerset, LabCorp, the New Jersey Department of Health, Rutgers Medical School, SAMHIN, Ritesh Shah Charitable Pharmacy, SSAI, Faith Health Care, NJ State AAPI, and a dedicated network of community providers and volunteers. Volunteer physicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists, social workers, and students from leading medical institutions will provide healthcare services throughout the event.

As Health Camp of New Jersey continues to expand its outreach and impact, the organization is excited to announce a new initiative for 2026 to establish a Community Health Center Look-Alike/Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The center is expected to begin providing services in September 2026 and will offer comprehensive primary medical, dental, and mental healthcare, vaccinations, follow-up care, and other essential health services to underserved communities across New Jersey.

“We remain deeply grateful to our volunteers, healthcare professionals, donors, sponsors, and community partners whose dedication and support make this humanitarian mission possible,” said Dr. Tushar Patel, President of Health Camp of New Jersey. “Together, we can continue building healthier communities through compassion, prevention, early detection, and timely access to quality healthcare.”
