The County of Santa Clara Registrar of Voters’ Office (ROV) is excited to announce that its inaugural “I Voted” Sticker design contest officially opens today, inviting students from across Santa Clara County to help create the county’s next iconic sticker. The winning designs will be distributed to all voters in the November 3, 2026, General Election.

The six-week submission window runs from March 24 through April 30, and the ROV encourages students of all ages and skill levels to participate.

The contest features three entry categories to highlight creativity across the community:

  • Elementary/Middle School Students (grades K-8)
  • High School Students (grades 9-12)
  • College & Trade School students

Entrants may submit their artwork entirely online, mail in their design, or drop it off at the ROV. Full instructions, design rules, and the official sticker template are available at sccvote.org/sticker, where participants can also upload their submissions.

After the submission period closes, ROV staff will review all entries and select finalists in each category. These finalists will be posted for public online voting in late May through early June, giving Santa Clara County residents the opportunity to vote for their favorite designs. Winners are expected to be announced in late June.

“We are thrilled to open this contest and invite our community to show us their creativity,” said Matt Moreles, Registrar of Voters. “Santa Clara County is filled with imaginative, talented students, and we can’t wait to see the artwork that will bring our next ‘I Voted’ sticker to life.”
