4th Florida South Asian Film Festival (FL – SAFF) Showcases Global South Asian Cinema in New Jersey

The 4th Florida South Asian Film Festival (FL – SAFF), presented by the Indian Arts & Culture Corporation (IACC), was successfully showcased as part of the New Jersey Indian & International Film Festival (NJIIFF) on March 29, 2026, at the ITV Gold Auditorium, Edison, New Jersey.

FL – SAFF continues to serve as a dynamic platform dedicated to South Asian cinema, bringing diverse stories and voices from across the region to a global audience.

This year, the festival received numerous film submissions from across the globe, representing filmmakers from multiple continents, reflecting the growing international reach of South Asian storytelling.

Following a careful selection process, a curated lineup of films was presented, highlighting a wide range of themes, powerful narratives, and emerging talent.

Here are some films that were honored at FL – SAFF:

Best Feature Film – Manarkadigai

Best Short Film – Harij Weds Sajili

The screenings were well received by audiences, creating an engaging atmosphere that celebrated cultural diversity and cinematic excellence.

Speaking about the festival, Festival Director said: “FL – SAFF continues to provide a meaningful platform for South Asian filmmakers to share their stories with global audiences. We are proud to support and showcase such diverse and impactful voices.”

The festival was presented by the Indian Arts & Culture Corporation (IACC) and supported through collaborations that aim to promote regional and independent cinema.
