After the shocking shooting incident at her ancestral home in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, Disha Patani has made her first public experience at an event in New York City. Patani was seen at an event donning a beautiful backless bodycon black gown.
Disha Patani, who is the brand ambassador of Calvin Klein, shared the pictures from the event on her Instagram and she wrote in the caption, “Calvin Klein Collection Spring 2026 by Veronica Leoni, New York City.”
This appearance from the Bollywood star in New York became a big talking point as just this Friday morning, on September 12th, two unidentified men on a motorbike opened fire outside Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly, the residence of Disha Patani’s family. Later, gangster Goldy Brar took the responsibility for the attack through a social media post.
The whole controversy took off when Disha’s sister Khushboo Patani criticised Aniruddhacharya after he made some remarks against live-in relationships. In a viral video, Khushboo reacted to Aniruddhacharya’s alleged statement that women over the age of 25 who are unmarried are promiscuous.
In the video, Khushboo was visibly agitated by the comments and lashed out at Aniruddhacharya stating, “’Muh maar ke aati hain?’ Had he been in front of me, I would have explained to him what ‘muh maarna’ means. I would have made him understand clearly. These are bloody anti-nationals… You should never be supporting such bast*** of the highest order.”
She added, “Why didn’t he say that men in live-in relationships also do the same… muh maarke aate hain. Is a woman alone in a live-in relationship? And, what’s wrong with live-in? What’s wrong about making a sensible decision of living-in before getting married and not ruining each other’s families?”
