The movie starring the two debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Saiyaara has become a sensation across the country with people loving and praising the movie everywhere. People have been making reels and videos watching the film and getting emotional across the internet.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yash Raj Films, Akshaye Widhani and movie director Mohit Suri have taken notice of these emotional reels and clarified that they are all organic. They have stated clearly that the reels are not part of any promotional strategy equipped by the production house to sell their film. He even revealed that the reactions came pouring from different parts of the country and it shocked them as well.
“All those reels are organic. We saw those reels of people crying and we kept sharing them with each other. And people thought that we were getting it done, but it’s all organic. It was amazing to see that when the reactions started pouring in, we started seeing some of these reels from smaller cities, from different centres and none of this was designed. These were actual audience reactions,” Widhani said.
Mohit Suri, who directed the romantic drama, chimed in as well stating, “You can’t script these.”
The CEO of YRF admitted that he would have loved to know that this movie would be loved so much by the audience and they would be spamming the internet with so many reels. He even referred to a clip of a guy watching the movie with a saline stand to which Suri said he hopes he is fine.
While many influencers have started talking about the movie and have caught up to the trends of the film, the makers still believe that the start of it was completely organic and out of genuine love for the film.
