Bollywood actress Kajol in her glorious career has worked in a fair share of film projects backed by the production house, Yash Raj Films (YRF). So, when her husband, Ajay Devgn’s production house Ajay Devgn FFilms (Now known as Devgn Films), clashed with YRF over the release of Son of Sardaar back in 2012, Kajol was the one who was caught in the middle of the tussle.

Kajol recently spoke while giving an interview about her experience on the clash. The Bollywood actress recalled how she found herself stuck in the middle when the two production houses were budding heads. On one side was her husband and on the other was Aditya Chopra with whom she had done multiple films with and shared a good bond.

The actress stated that it was a difficult time for her as the fight didn’t get resolved for some time as both the production houses stood their ground. She said she felt helpless during the times as she was connected to both sides.

Kajol said, “Fights are always difficult, especially when they remain unresolved for some time. At that point, when you have a situation like that in front of you, both parties were standing for themselves. As somebody who was connected to both sides, I felt helpless.

She also said, “You have to wait for time to pass, so that the feelings subside. So that things can become ok again. Change is change, it is neither good nor bad. It is written somewhere that change is eternal. It is the only thing which is constant.”

The whole controversy started back in 2012 when Devgn’s production house filed a complaint with the Competition Commission of India (CCI) alleging that YRF had used their dominant market position to take the majority of the screens. This happened when YRF’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan starring Shah Rukh Khan was released alongside Devgn’s Son of Sardaar.
