Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s romance takes a dark turn in ‘Saiyaara’

The famous director of hit movies like ‘Ashiqui 2’ and ‘Ek Villain’, Mohit Suri is making his return to the big screen with his new directorial venture Saiyaara.  The trailer of Saiyaara was released yesterday on 8th July and the film is all set to release on 18th July at the box office. The movie stars the two debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in lead roles.

The trailer of the upcoming movie took the audience back to the early 2010s with Suri’s unique way of showcasing a tale of romance and heartbreak. The movie stars Ahaan as an upcoming singer Krish Kapoor and Aneet as a songwriter who works alongside Krish and writes his songs.

The trailer showcases how both leads cross paths and start working together and falling for each other deeply in the process. However, it is not just a romantic movie as the trailer shows the two characters drifting apart with Aneet’s character taking a dark turn, threatening Krish with a knife and demanding that he leave an event. The trailer showed Krish going through a heartbreak while he becomes a successful singer engulfed in anguish and anger.

Mohit Suri was asked about his love for making romantic movies and what he seeks through that. The director expressed how he feels that romance is a special genre which can take people to beautiful journeys. He stated how he loves showcasing the romances he has seen in life on the big screen to the whole world.

He said, “I feel you can tell so many beautiful stories and take people along so many journeys and celebrate so many emotions, but the romantic genre is always special. Saiyaara is my homage to the love stories I love and the sweeping romances that I have come across throughout my life. I have been fortunate to have met so many people who have been kind enough to share their incredible love stories with me.”
