South Asian American coalition is proud to announce the appointment of Dharmeshkumar Patel as Executive Director. This significant appointment was announced by Sridhar Chillara, the Chairman of the South Asian American Coalition for Jack 2025.
Dharmeshkumar Patel is a respected community leader across New Jersey, known for his dedication and strong grassroots presence. He will be playing a key role in mobilizing voter support and energizing local outreach efforts.
Earlier, in a significant community gathering held in Edison, NJ, New Jersey Governor Candidate Jack Ciattarelli officially announced the appointment of Sridhar Chillara as the Chairman of the South Asian American Coalition for Jack 2025. The event was attended by several prominent community leaders from across the state, signaling a major grassroots push toward the upcoming gubernatorial election.
As part of his vision, Mr. Chillara will lead the formation of multiple sub-coalitions representing key South Asian communities, including:
• Indian American Coalition
• Pakistani American Coalition
• Bangladeshi American Coalition
• Nepali American Coalition
• Sri Lankan American Coalition
Within the Indian American Coalition, language-based wings will ensure deep cultural engagement across the state:
• Indian Telugu Coalition
• Indian Gujarati Coalition
• Indian Tamil Coalition
• Indian Punjabi Coalition
• Indian Hindi Coalition
Mr. Chillara will also establish a robust executive leadership team, advisory board, and several functional committees focused on:
• Social media & digital outreach
• Temple & festival events
• Community association engagement
• Youth and women’s outreach
• Voter registration drives
• Targeted fundraising initiatives
