Another drama has begun in Bollywood after Paresh Rawal’s recent exit from the movie Hera Pheri 3. The veteran actor announced through a post from his social media handle that he will be walking away from the third installment of the superhit franchise. Now, it is being reported that Akshay Kumar who was producing the movie while also being one of the leads in the movie has decided to sue Rawal for sabotaging the shoot.

Paresh Rawal took to his X handle and clarified that his exit from the movie is not on the back of some creative differences between him and the director or money issues. He also expressed how much he admires Priyadarshan as a filmmaker.

He wrote, “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan, the film director.”

Akshay Kumar who bought the rights from the previous producer Feroz Nadiadwala was now producing the movie. He has decided to sue Paresh Rawal for 25 crores for the damages. There were reports that circulated earlier which iterated that Rawal charged three times higher for this film then his usual fees.

There were reports in which an official connected to film has said, “Paresh himself announced doing the film on his X handle in January, he participated in all pre-production planning, shot for a day (including the teaser promo) willingly. When he never expressed dissatisfaction at any point, for him to now suddenly play with the emotions of the fans of this franchise and inflict losses on the producer is clearly in bad faith.”

He also added, “It is high time Bollywood actors realise that like Hollywood, producers here too will no longer give in to the whims of an actor walking in and out of a film as he pleases.”

Fans have been waiting for this project for a long time as they have adored the pairing of Akshay, Paresh and Sunil Shetty as Raju, Babu Rao and Shyam in the previous two comedy movies. But now it seems that the wait will continue as the future for the film seems obscure as of now.
