One of the most popular stars from India, singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh is facing some real backlash for his latest movie Sardaar Ji 3 which is all set to release this week on June 27th. The movie’s trailer was launched on 22nd June and when the fans found out that the movie stars Pakistani actress, Hania Aamir the whole internet was enraged.
Fans loved the first two film projects of Dosanjh’s ‘Sardaar Ji’ franchise and were waiting for the third film but ever since they have found out that the film has Aamir starring in it. The public outrage is because of the conflicts between India and Pakistan last month after the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
There has been a ban on Pakistani artistes after the terrorist attack in Uri in 2016 but despite that the popular Pakistani actress was made part of the film. The fans were also fuming on the makers of the movie for hiding the news of the artist being part of the movie till the movie’s trailer was released last night.
The film’s trailer was blocked by Youtube India from all the users in the country. Along with that it is official that the film won’t see the light of the day in the Indian box office. However, the movie will be heading to a release in the overseas market. The movie is directed by Amar Hundal and will be produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu, and Diljit Dosanjh.
Dosanjh posted the trailer of the movie last night on his official instagram account. There he also confirmed the announcement that the movie will be released overseas only. In the caption he wrote, “Sardaar Ji 3 Releasing 27th June OVERSEAS Only. Fadh Lao Bhoond Dian Lattan.”
