November 10th, 2024, marked a pivotal moment at The Ivory on the Park as HUM, collaborating with Vikhyati’s designs, orchestrated a compelling fashion event dedicated to shedding light on domestic violence, fostering a powerful convergence of art, advocacy, and community engagement among fashion devotees, advocates, and leaders.

Inspired by concepts of strength and rejuvenation, Vikhyati’s collection featured characteristic pastel tones and intricate pearl details, representing the resilient yet delicate nature of survivors. Each piece narrated a unique tale, with models comprising Vikhyati’s longest-serving client and survivor advocates, parading down the runway to emphasize the message of personal empowerment.

As the creative force behind Vikhyati and founder of Hum, Jyoti Bindra, firmly believe that this show transcends fashion, fostering meaningful connections and conversations that drive positive change. Bindra extended sincerest gratitude to the valued clients, dedicated team, and the Hum organization for their unified support of this profoundly important cause.

The evening ended with a tribute to survivors, celebrating every step forward as a victory, and reaffirming HUM and Vikhyati’s vision of a safe, empowering future for all.

HUM is a non-profit organization committed to supporting survivors of domestic violence through education, resources, and advocacy.
