India’s first-ever dedicated award show for the Indian Forest Service officers, the Eco Warrior Awards 2024, was held in the capital city on September 11 (Wednesday). At the event, exceptional individuals and initiatives that have made significant contributions to environmental conservation and sustainable practices were honored.
Organized jointly by Indian Masterminds and Indian Forest Service Association, the special event saw a large turnout of environmental leaders, senior forest officers, university students, government officials and Bollywood star Randeep Hooda and award-winning filmmaker & branding specialist Rahul Mittra.
In a special session on “How can celebrities impact sustainable development”, which was moderated by well-known journalist Bhupendra Chaubey, both Hooda and Mittra shared their valuable insights into the topic of discussion.
Both the celebrities received a rousing reception from the audience as they emphasized on the importance of cultivating habits which respect the Mother Earth and inculcate eco-consciousness among the people.
Apart from being close friends and working together on stellar films like Saheb Biwi aur Gangster, Main Aur Charles & widely-watched web series Inspector Avinash on Jio Cinema, Randeep Hooda and Rahul Mittra are also known to be keen nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts and dog lovers, having rescued & adopting two desi dogs, Candy & Butterscotch respectively which are part of their respective families now.
