The upcoming India Day parade in New York City will feature a special Ram Mandir tableau to celebrate Indian culture and heritage. Organized by the Federation of Indian Associations NY-NJ-CT-NE (FIA), this 42nd Annual India Day Parade NYC will take place on August 18.

The tableau and its details were revealed at a curtain-raiser event hosted at the Consulate General of India in New York recently and showcased the design and construction of the Ram Mandir float, which will be the parade’s main attraction.

The parade route passes through the popular Madison Avenue and attracts thousands of members of the Indian diaspora here in New York and from the USA. Renowned Indian actor Pankaj Tripathi will serve as the Guest of Honour during the festivities.

The centerpiece of the parade will be an 18-foot-long, 9-foot-wide, and 8-foot-tall replica of the newly inaugurated Ayodhya Ram Mandir, symbolizing a historic moment for the global Indian community.

The India Day parade aims to highlight India’s rich cultural heritage, traditions, and accomplishments, filling Madison Avenue with the vibrant colors of the Indian tricolor and patriotic songs.
