Indian American Community of Morris County celebrates July 4 in Parsippany

The Morris County Indian-American Community celebrated American Independence Day with a grand event on July 4 at Morris County at 6 JRapps Court. The Morris County Indian American Community comprising of Rajendar Dichpally, Santosh Peddi, Bhagwan Pingle, Guru Uppalapati, Krishna Pirlamarla, and Ravinder Thota organized the event which was attended by more than 300 people.

The event started with the playing of American and Indian National Anthems. Dr. Jayesh Patel was honored for community service by the organizers. Justin Musella (Councilman), Paul DeGroot (Public Prosecutor – Passiac County), Jigar Shah (Mayor’s Community Liason – Parsippany), Prasad Gollanapalli (Director – Gandhi King Foundation) Arun Ayyagari (Community Leader and US Air Force pilot) were some of the guests that attended the event. The organizers arranged for a DJ to play Indian-American Songs. There was also food and drinks arranged by the organizers for all attendees.
