Manavi is hosting its Annual Fundraising Gala on April 26th, 2024, at The Marigold, Somerset, New Jersey. The entertainment filled event is being organized to celebrate 39 years of Manavi’s mission to end gender-based violence in the South Asian community.
The event will witness Ms. Chandrika Tandon as the Keynote Speaker and Kanika Chadda Gupta as Emcee for the Manavi Gala 2024. The gala event will be honoring Amol Sinha, Aparna Khurjekar and Zoë Timms. There will be a special musical performance by Suchi Iyer and dance performances during the gala by Anu Sahasrabudhe, Aria and Arohi Dandawate.
The evening will end with a special performance by Kavya Jones and DJ Kawan! Manavi Gala will have a premium open bar and free valet parking. The Manavi Gala on Friday, April 26th will be an opportunity to support its mission to end gender-based violence in the South Asian community. Founded in 1985, Manavi is the first organization in the United States dedicated to ending all forms of violence against South Asian survivors. Using a survivor-centered approach, Manavi provides culturally specific and linguistically appropriate services to 900+ South Asian survivors of gender-based violence every year.
