On March 31st Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) chapter organized the ‘Ab Ki Bar 400 Par’ Car Rally in Chicago for the upcoming general elections in India. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Indian diaspora, showcasing their solidarity with the ideals and vision of the Modi government.
The rally spearheaded by OFBJP volunteers in Chicago witnessed a turnout of over 125 cars converging at the Hari Sumiran temple in Long Grove in the northern suburbs of Illinois. Nearly 250 members took part in prayers and Kirtan and Himanshu Sheth, the event host conveyed the purpose of the rally. He underscored the Modi government’s remarkable achievements before the rally had begun.
Amar Upadhyay, a key member from the Chicago chapter urged attendees to propagate PM Modi’s message of inclusivity and development actively. He emphasized the upcoming Indian election as a watershed moment in the country’s democratic history and called upon the Indian diaspora to play an instrumental role in steering India towards progress.
Rakesh Malhotra presented and highlighted the indispensable role of the Indian diaspora in shaping the future of their homeland. Terming the rally a ‘Kartavya Rally’ he expressed gratitude for the Indian diaspora’s steadfast support.
Sailesh Rajput of Hindu Mahotsav encouraged the audience to utilize communication channels like WhatsApp to mobilize their friends and family in India to exercise their voting rights, thus contributing to the democratic process in India.
The pooja for the event was performed by Purohit Rohit Joshi and Pandit Bharat ji who led the attendees towards the Sankalp of ‘Ab Ki Baar 400 Par’ symbolizing their collective determination to ensure victory in the upcoming election in India.
