HindiUSA has a total of 26 schools, with 15 in New Jersey, four in Connecticut, and one each in Maryland and Massachusetts.
HindiUSA was formed as a non-profit volunteer organization in 2001 by a few people who wanted to promote Hindi language at the grass root level. They felt that the Indian culture, its sacraments and traditions are very much tied with Hindi and by promoting Hindi the Indian ‘essence’ will live on in the younger generation.
