The eagerly awaited first look of International megastar Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, ‘Singham Again,’ has been revealed. The revelation coincided with the second anniversary of their previous blockbuster, ‘Sooryavanshi.’
In ‘Singham Again,’ Akshay Kumar will reprise his role as ATS Chief Veer Sooryavanshi, continuing the legacy of the Cop Universe created by Rohit Shetty. This film is the third installment in the Singham series, with Ajay Devgn leading the franchise since its inception in 2011.
The Cop Universe, which began with ‘Singham’ and ‘Singham Returns,’ expanded with ‘Simmba’ in 2018 and ‘Sooryavanshi’ in 2021. The latter weaved together all three iconic cops played by Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar.
‘Singham Again’ also features Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor Khan reprising her role from ‘Singham Returns.’ As per the release, this film promises to be a gripping narrative that builds on the success of its predecessors.
Akshay is currently engrossed in multiple projects, including “Khel Khel Mein,” in London, directed by Mudassar Aziz. The year 2024 is shaping up to be a monumental one for him, with a lineup of diverse and promising films including “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” “Sky Force,” “Welcome 3,” and a Hindi remake of the Tamil hit “Soorarai Pottru.”
