On Monday, the College Democrats of New Jersey are announcing their support for Edison Mayoral candidate Sam Joshi in the June 8 Democratic primary election. The College Democrats of New Jersey are joining Democratic leaders including Governor Phil Murphy, Senator Cory Booker, Senator Bob Menendez, Congressman Frank Pallone and a multitude of others in supporting Sam Joshi for Mayor of Edison.
“The College Democrats of New Jersey are joining leaders from across the state of New Jersey in endorsing Sam Joshi for Mayor of Edison,” said New Jersey College Democrats President David McMillan. “Sam has been devoted to serving his community since he was a teenager and at 27 he was the youngest elected official in a municipality with over 100,000 residents in the entire Northeast. He represents the next generation of leadership in the New Jersey Democratic Party and as College Democrats we will do whatever it takes to ensure his victory on June 8.”
“I would like to thank the College Democrats of New Jersey for their overwhelming support in my campaign for Mayor,” said Edison Council Vice President, Mayoral candidate Sam Joshi. “Young people are the future of leadership in our country and I am grateful that they have entrusted me with their support. Whether you live in Edison or not, I encourage young Democrats to get involved in our campaign in the final stretch of this election so that we can be victorious on June 8.”
