This Sunday, on September 14th, the Chief of Rashtriya Seva Sangh (RSS) Mohan Bhagwat, at an event in Indore, stated India is taking big strides in towards development and is proving everyone’s prediction wrong. He believes that this rapid growth of India is driven by faith in the traditional philosophy of knowledge, action, and devotion.

These comments from RSS chief have come at a time when the economy of India has recorded a growth rate of 7.80% in the April-June quarter of the current fiscal, which is the highest in the last five quarters before the heavy tariffs were imposed by the United States. This growth rate is far better than what any had expected of the Indian economy.

The RSS chief, at the event, referred to former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill who stated that India would crumble after achieving independence from the British empire and would not remain united. Bhagwat highlighted that while India has remained united, England seems on the verge of division.

“Winston Churchill once said that after independence (from British rule), you (India) will not be able to survive and will be divided, but this did not happen. Now England itself is coming to the stage of division, but we will not be divided. We will move forward. We were once divided, but we will unite that again,” he added.

Bhagwat also stated that India was the world leader for 3,000 years and because of their belief in maintaining a balance between – knowledge, action, and devotion, India strides forward proving everyone wrong.

“Due to its belief in the traditional philosophy of the balanced trinity of knowledge, action, and devotion, Bharat is continuously moving ahead on the path of development by proving everyone’s predictions wrong,” he said.
