The Consulate General of India, New York, in partnership with the American India Foundation (AIF), Entry India, USA, and Corridor Connect, hosted an engaging roundtable discussion titled “Corridor Connect: The Emerging India Opportunity.” The event took place on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 5:30 PM in the Consulate Ballroom.

The event provided a unique networking platform for young finance and investment professionals, business entrepreneurs, U.S. companies, Venture Capital and potential investors to explore emerging business and investment opportunities in India. With a special emphasis on sectors and fields such as IT, fin-tech, healthcare, startups, and manufacturing, the discussions offered a comprehensive overview of India’s expanding economy and its potential as a global investment hub. A notable highlight included insights on the trend of young US graduates returning to India to contribute to the dynamic startup ecosystem.

The event commenced with introductory remarks by Mr. Manish Kulhary, Consul (Trade) & Mr. Shivam Desai, Founder of Corridor Connect, followed by a Special address by Consul General Ambassador Binaya S. Pradhan. Highlighting the growing Indo-US economic collaboration, Ambassador Pradhan emphasized India’s robust GDP growth, expanding startup ecosystem, and transformative reforms that have made it an attractive destination for international investors. Ambassador Pradhan emphasized the significant role of young Indian origin individuals living in the US in bridging the economic partnership with India’s growth story.

The panel discussion featured an esteemed group of speakers, offering diverse perspectives on India’s financial and investment landscape:
