Health Camp of New Jersey (HCNJ) successfully organized its Health Fair at Shree Swaminarayan Mandir – ISSO in Parsippany, NJ, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, where hundred community members participated and benefitted from a wide range of preventive health services. HCNJ, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been conducting health fairs since 1998, with the goal of serving uninsured and underinsured individuals in the South Asian community.

The health fair provided comprehensive screening, education, and counseling services covering medical, dental, and mental health needs. Participants received preventive evaluations for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disorders, various types of cancers, mental health evaluation and counseling. The event also offered blood tests, EKGs, physical examinations, cardiology, neurology, internal medicine, and pain management consults, cancer screening and education, physical therapy, podiatry, alternative medicine, CPR training and influenza vaccinations, among many other services to benefit underprivileged community members to reduce healthcare disparities.
A dedicated team of physicians, specialists, mental health professionals, pharmacists, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, medical assistants, nurses, social workers, and medical students volunteered their time to support the event. Their expertise played a vital role in identifying chronic disease abnormalities and providing culturally focused education tailored to the South Asian community.

Since its inception, HCNJ has screened more than 14,000 individuals statewide and identified over 4,500 chronic disease abnormalities, ensuring that high-risk community members receive timely referrals and education. In 2025 alone, HCNJ conducted seven health fairs across New Jersey, screening more than 800 individuals. HCNJ sincerely appreciates the unwavering support of our local organizations and dedicated volunteers. Their time, service, and expertise play an invaluable role in making these health fairs successful and impactful for our community. HCNJ celebrated its 25th Anniversary Gala in 2023, during which it announced its vision to launch a Community Health Center to provide year-round access to care for underserved populations. Progress toward the center is well underway, with an official announcement expected in early 2026.
