Houston, TX
Century Cricket Centres has officially opened its first U.S. facility in Houston, Texas – launching a state-of-the-art, 24/7 indoor cricket training centre that blends world-class technology with community connection to redefine how cricket is played, trained, and experienced.
The official opening event will take place on Saturday 25 October, followed by a Community Open Day from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, where players, families, and fans are invited to tour the facility, see live demonstrations of the technology, and meet the team behind this new cricket experience.
A New Era of Cricket Training
Century Cricket Centres are built around one simple idea — cricket, 100% of the time.
Each facility combines advanced training tools and data-driven insights to help players improve faster and smarter. From smart bowling machines and real-time ball tracking, to high-definition video replay and bat sensor analytics – the system provides a complete, interactive experience for every level of cricketer, from beginners to professionals.
“Having experienced an early version of our integrated system in the Bangalore test lab, it’s been incredible to now see it all come to life here in Houston,” said Stuart Giles, Century Cricket President and CEO. “Standing in the lane and seeing your data and video replays appear instantly on the LED screens is not only engaging – it’s game-changing. It turns every training session into an immersive, professional-level experience.”
The Houston facility brings all of Century’s innovations together for the first time in one location – offering flexible gym-style access, next-generation technology, and a welcoming community space that makes cricket training possible anytime, rain or shine.
“What’s most exciting is that this is just the beginning,” said Arminder Thind, CEO and Co-Founder of StanceBeam. “The platform we’ve built with Century has enormous potential to evolve even further — from deeper analytics and coaching integration to new ways for players around the world to connect and compete. Houston is a huge step forward for cricket innovation.”

Global Foundations, Local Impact
While Houston marks Century’s first U.S. site and their first fully integrated location, the brand is already established internationally. Founded in Australia, Century has spent years trialling and testing its concept model, and developing technology, design, and operations through dedicated test facilities and R&D partnerships.
Century has partnered with Bangalore-based technology company StanceBeam for integrated performance analytics, ball tracking, and Bat Sensor technology, and with Straight Drive for bowling machine technology, creating a custom-built comprehensive training platform. Together, these partnerships have enabled Century to create a fully integrated, tech-enabled environment that redefines cricket training – merging data, design, and community to deliver an experience unlike anything else in the sport.
Entering the U.S. Cricket Ecosystem
The Houston launch coincides with Century Cricket Centres’ deeper involvement in the growing U.S. cricket landscape. Century Cricket’s President and CEO Stuart Giles will speak at the Cricket Impact Summit (in San Francisco on 22–24 October), joining the panel “The Innovation Engine: Disrupting Cricket’s Norms.” The event brings together global cricket innovators and decision-makers shaping the future of the sport.
“Launching in Houston and contributing to the conversation in San Francisco are major milestones for Century,” said Mr Giles. “We’ve spent years developing a world-first environment that combines technology, accessibility, and community – and we’re thrilled to share it with the U.S. cricket community.”
