Ever since it was announced that Ranveer Singh will be starring in the third installment of the fabled ‘Don’ franchise, there have been many speculations surrounding the movie. There were reports that came out earlier stating that several stars have exited the movie project. Now, reports have come out stating that Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have both been approached to star in Farhan Akhtar’s directorial venture.
The OG Don, Amitabh Bachchan, who was the lead in the 1978 film, has been approached by the makers to be part of the film. Along with him Shah Rukh Khan, who has led the first two movies Don (2006) and Don 2 (2011), has been asked out as well. If the rumours are to be trusted both the mega stars are considering the offer but there has been no official confirmation from their end as of yet.
If the stars align it will be the first time that Big B, SRK and Ranveer would be part of the same movie and will be seen together on the big screen. Fans were excited when the reports came out as it is a very exciting prospect to witness the three generations of Don coming together in the massive project.
There were several other rumours that circulated about Akhtar’s Don 3 all around the internet. It was reported that alongside SRK, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was also asked to return for the third film. Vikrant Massey also confirmed that he had exited the film a few months back so Aditya Roy Kapur and Vijay Deverakonda are being considered to fill the role of antagonist in the movie. Kiara Advani had also exited the film project and as per the reports Kriti Sanon has entered the movie as the female lead.
