India set to export Electric Vehicles to 100 countries

The electric vehicle manufacturer market of India is about to take a huge leap as per the announcements made by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. This Saturday, on August 23rd, the Prime Minister made an announcement that India is going to export EVs to 100 countries all across the world.

While addressing the public at an event, PM Modi announced that India is moving forward to achieve another milestone as the country is going to export EVs to 100 countries. He revealed that there will be a big program two days later this Tuesday that will be related to the said announcement.

“I want to tell you about another success of India. India is now going to export electric vehicles to 100 countries of the world. A very big program related to this is also being held after 2 days on Aug. 26,” he said.

PM Modi revealed that until 2014, the automobile exports market of India stood at approximately Rs 50,000 crore per year. Now, 11 years into his tenure, the exports of automobiles of the country is worth Rs 1.2 lakh crore a year. He highlighted that India is the fastest-growing major economy in the world and will very soon become the third-largest economy.

“Today, India is the world’s fastest-growing major economy. We are going to become the world’s third-largest economy very soon. Experts are saying that India’s contribution to world growth is going to be around 20% very soon,” he said.

The PM also highlighted at the event that the next-generation GST reform process is seeking to make the laws simpler and will target to bring the prices down before Diwali. He revealed that India has developed its entire 5G stack domestically and is now working on to produce Made-in-India 6G technology.
