Yo Yo Honey Singh has always been in the news and bared with controversies and just one day ago he was again in legal trouble due to the use of derogatory and objectionable language towards women in his very famous song Millionaire. However, the singer-rapper seemingly unfazed by the controversies released a music video this Friday, on August 8th, of his track One Thousand Miles.
Honey Singh shared the video link of the new music video of One Thousand Miles through his social media account in a collaborative post with one of the biggest music labels of India, T Series. The post on Instagram came just a day after there was a notice issued against him by the Punjab State Women’s Commission over some alleged misogynistic lyrics in his famous song Millionaire.
The caption of the post announcing the video read, “One Song, Endless Love! #OneThousandMiles Video out now #tseries #BhushanKumar @yoyohoneysingh @mandy.takhar @itsrdm @rdmmedia @mihirgulati.”
Just a few hours before the song dropped on YouTube, Honey Singh shared an update with his fans and followers through his Story that he put on Instagram.
On Thursday, August 7th, the Punjab State Women’s Commission took suo motu cognisance of the matter and issued a notice to Honey Singh regarding the lyrics of his song Millionaire. In accordance with the notice issued, Honey Singh has been summoned to appear before the panel on Monday, August 11th, 2025.
The song Millionaire was part of the comeback album of Honey Singh named as Glory that came out in 2024. The song marked Honey Singh’s proper comeback to the heights which he once achieved in 2010s where he seemingly ruled the music scene. The album also featured songs such as Payal, Jatt Mehkma, Bonita and High On Me. The album was also backed by T-Series.
