The Superstar of the Tamil film industry and one of the finest actors of India, Kamal Haasan is going to start a new chapter as he is all set to begin his term as a Member of parliament in the Rajya Sabha. As he prepares for the oath-taking ceremony to become a member of Rajya Sabha, Haasan visited his long time friend and legendary actor, Rajinikanth.
Kamal Haasan took to his official social media handle and dropped a bunch of photos with superstar Rajinikanth from his visit ahead of his oath-taking ceremony. In the pictures posted, the ‘Indian’ actor could be seen presenting his official Rajya Sabha order to Rajinikanth. The photos of the two superstars have gone viral as the fans of them both were ecstatic to see them together.
Haasan also greeted the legendary actor with a bouquet in one pic while in another one two Southern stalwarts can be seen embracing each other in a warm hug. Haasan stated in the caption how he was there meeting his friend before he took the first steps in this new chapter of his life. Kamal Haasan wrote, “I shared the beginning of this new journey with my friend Rajinikanth. I feel elated.”
The Thalaivar of South cinema, Rajinikanth also posted some photos of the two legendary actors meeting each other. He congratulated Haasan on his huge achievement and wrote in the caption of his post, “My dear friend Kamal Haasan who will be taking office as a member of the Rajya Sabha, heartfelt congratulations to him.”
The legendary actor Kamal Haasan is the founder of the political party, Makkal Needhi Maiyam. Haasan was amongst six other candidates that were elected unopposed from Tamil Nadu to take office in Rajya Sabha. He will be taking oath as a Member of Rajya Sabha on July 25, 2025.
