Just 17 years old, Mahin Gupta has turned a personal battle into a powerful mission: to inspire the next generation of scientists, creators, and change-makers. A student at Roslyn High School and a leukemia survivor, Mahin has recently published An Electric Journey: An Intro to Circuits for Kids—a colorful, beginner-friendly book designed to make science accessible and exciting for young minds.

Academically, Mahin is a powerhouse, boasting a 102 GPA and a rigorous course load that includes AP Physics 1 & 2, AP Pre-Calculus, AP US History, AP European History, and AP English Language. He’s currently developing an AI-powered drone capable of autonomously identifying and collecting plastic waste—an innovative solution aimed at tackling environmental pollution.
