This year on March 14th, Aamir Khan celebrated his 60th birthday in which he introduced the world to his girlfriend Gauri Sprat. Gauri is an owner of a salon in Mumbai and has also been associated with Aamir Khan’s production house for some time. The couple have been seen together a lot ever since announcing their relationship.
The Bollywood superstar was recently talking about his relationship and how he is thinking about getting married to Gauri and in his heart has already married in heart. The actor stated that both of them are very serious about each other and he thinks they will decide whether they will formally get married or not.
Aamir said, “Well, Gauri and I are really serious about each other, and we are in a committed space. And we are, you know, we are partners. We are together. Marriage is something, I mean, in my heart, I’m already married to her. So, whether we formalise it or not is something I will decide as we go along.”
While promoting his last movie ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, Aamir was on Raj Shamani’s podcast ‘Figuring Out’ where he was talking about meeting Gauri for the first time. He said it was by mistake but it turned out fine at the end as they fell in love eventually.
Speaking to Shamani, he said, “Gauri and I met by mistake and we connected and we became friends, and love happened. I thought I had my mother, kids, siblings – I have so many close relationships that I don’t need a partner.”
Aamir was recently seen in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ which released on the big screens on June 20, 2025. It was a spiritual sequel to the 2007 hit film Taare Zameen Par. The film starred Genelia D’Souza and 10 other debuting actors alongside Aamir.
