Kareena Kapoor is ‘Grateful, Happy, Blessed, Motivated’

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan, on Wednesday celebrated 21 years of her debut movie, ‘Refugee’ by sharing a compilation video of special moments from the movie.

The ‘3 Idiots’ actor took to her Instagram handle and marked the day by posting the special video along with the caption, “21 years. Grateful, happy, blessed, motivated, passionate… 21 more to go… I’m ready. Thank you to everyone for the continuous love and support. #JPDutta #JPFilms @bachchan @nidhiduttaofficial.”

In the video, Kareena could be seen with her co-star Abhishek Bachchan in scenes from the film. A photo also showed them with the film’s director JP Dutta, at the film’s premiere. Back in 2000, Kareena got her big break opposite Abhishek in ‘Refugee’. The film also featured Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Reena Roy among others. Along with Kareena it also Abhishek’s debut in Bollywood.

Teaser of ‘Filhaal 2’ creates curiosity among fans

Ahead of the release of the love song, ‘Filhaal 2’, makers on Wednesday unveiled its teaser featuring Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon.

In the teaser, a heartbroken Akshay Kumar can be seen dancing at Nupur Sanon’s wedding. For the unversed, ‘Filhaal 2’ is a sequel to the hit song ‘Filhaal’, which was sung by Punjabi singer B Praak. The new version is sung by B Praak only. Arvindr Khaira has directed the video. Punjabi star Ammy Virk is also a part of the song.

Sharing the link of the teaser on Instagram, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Filhaal se mohabbat karne ka samay aa rha hai.” Speaking of the teaser, a brief glimpse of characters Dr Kabir Malhotra (played by Akshay Kumar) and Meher Grewal (essayed by Nupur Sanon) have surely left fans curious. “Can’t wait to see what happens between the two,” a user commented. “Akshay is looking so heartbroken. Eagerly waiting for the track,” another one wrote.

Actor lauds people for using social media constructively


Actor Ananya Panday is quite happy to see social media becoming a source of hope during the COVID-19 crisis. And now on the occasion of World Social Media Day, she has launched ‘Social Media For Social Good’ campaign. The main aim of ‘Social Media For Social Good’ is to encourage people to keep social platforms positive and healthy.

“I want to applaud all those people who’ve used social media constructively for social good. By using social media responsibly, you all empowered yourselves to deal with the pandemic crisis, overcome situations and help the needy and affected in every way possible,” she said. “People have helped arrange hospital beds, oxygen cylinders. Some were giving out vaccine-related information while the others helped the strays, the list is endless. I’ll be interacting with some of these social media heroes with So Positive’s new series #SocialMediaForSocialGood,” she shared.

Seeing people helping each other on social media has reinforced Ananya’s belief in ‘kindness, compassion, and empathy’.
