India has sent 7 delegations to various different countries of the world to convey their message of anti-terrorism all across the globe. Recently there were reports that suggested that Pakistan is trying to sabotage and derail India’s delegation in Malaysia. However, the Malaysian government ignored the attempts and supported the delegation.
As per the reports, the Pakistani embassy tried its hardest to sabotage the Indian delegation. The embassy tried to convince the government to not go through with India’s delegation but their request fell on deaf ears as the Malaysian government showed its support to India and let the delegation go through.
The delegation that went to Malaysia was led by JDU MP Sanjay Jha and included members from different parties like BJP MPs Aparajita Sarangi, Brij Lal, Pradan Baruah and Hemang Joshi, Trinamool’s Abhishek Banerjee, CPM’s John Brittas, Congress’s Salman Khurshid and former diplomat Mohan Kumar. Along with visiting Malaysia the delegation has travelled to other countries like Indonesia, South Korea, Japan and Singapore.
The Sanjay Jha-led delegation has finally returned back to India and has confirmed that they have delivered a strong message that India will stand united against any form of terrorism. They have also confirmed that the countries in unison have condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam that took lives of 26 innocent people most of whom were mere tourists in the valley.
Jha conveyed to the countries that India was not the aggressor in attacks, rather the country only targeted base camps of terrorists and their centres in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir with restraint and precision strikes. He also notified that the flights have resumed in Jammu and Kashmir and there was a cabinet meeting held to study the ground situation in Pahalgam.
“We visited Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. We urged that action should be taken against Pakistan by the FATF (Financial Action Task Force). The delegations have sent out a strong message against terror,” Jha confirmed.
The Indian government had chosen 59 members from different parties to formulate 7 delegation teams. These were sent to a total of 32 different countries to convey India’s message of anti-terrorism.
