In a grand ceremony in Edison, New Jersey, on Saturday, 24th May 2025, Telugu Times, the 22-year-old news magazine and media house serving NRI Telugu community in USA, presented awards to Telugu Entrepreneurs for business excellence in select categories.
Mr. Dilip Chauhan, Former Deputy Registrar of Nassau County and Mr. Ankur Vaidya, Chairman, FIA – NJ, NY, CT, NE were the chief guests of the event. They presented the awards and appreciated NRI Telugu community for not only developing excellence in their businesses but also promoting their culture. Earlier in the event, Sri A Revanth Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt of Telangana, Sri Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, Consul General of India gave congratulatory messages to the award winners. Mr. Brian C Wahler, Mayor – Piscataway appreciated Telugu community for promoting excellence in their businesses and Mr. Sam Joshi, Mayor -Edison endorsed that Indian Americans are always playing a vital role in the places they reside.

All the leaders from National Telugu Associations namely TANA, ATA, NATS, TTA, MATA, NRIVA, TDF, IT Serve Alliance were also present as Guests of Honor who came on to the stage and announced one category of Winner. Leaders from local Telugu Associations namely TFAS, TLCA, NYTTA, NJ Telugu were also present apart from several community and business leaders.
Mr. Subba Row Chennuri, Editor & CEO of Telugu Times Media Inc explained that Telugu Times started selecting and presenting awards for Business Excellence among Telugu Entrepreneurs in 2023 with an objective of creating a Platform for growing Entrepreneurs from the NRI Telugu community in USA. In the end, he thanked all the nominees for the awards and congratulated the winners. TV9 and TV9 USA acted as Media Partners and FIA- NY/NJ/ NE as Organizing Partner.
