Set in the late 14th century, the film chronicles the life of Hamirji Gohil, a valiant young warrior from Arthila, Gujarat. As the ruthless Zafar Khan, Subedar of Gujarat under the Tughlaq Empire, spreads tyranny through forced conversions and temple desecrations, Hamirji emerges as a beacon of resistance. Despite the indifference of other Rajput rulers, he strives to unite them, eventually making a powerful stand at the sacred Somnath Temple during Mahashivratri. With just 200 loyal warriors and the brave Vegda Bhil by his side, Hamirji defends Somnath against the might of the Tughlaq army. His heroic final stand, though ending in martyrdom, ensures that the spirit of resistance lives on, safeguarding the cultural and spiritual heritage of his people.
